Nuriddin Narziev was born in 1985 in the town of Gijduvan, Bukhara Province. In 2002-2005 he studied at the National College of Design named after A. Khojayev, and continued his education at the K. Behzad National Institute of Arts and Design, at the monumental painting department (2005-2009). His mentors were B. Jalalov and J. Rakhmanov.
Narziev is an active participant of the republican exhibitions and contests. For instance, in the 2000 exhibition dedicated to the Children’s Day he was ranked number one. In the 2001 Republican contest (held in Bukhara Province) «Modern World through the Children’s Eyes» he was second best artist. In 2004 Narziev participated in the «Poland and Uzbekistan» exhibition, where she presented his work titled «Poland in My Imagination». In 2005 the Central Exhibition Hall of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan exhibited Narziev’s work «My Mahalla». He was an active participant of all student exhibitions held in 2005-2006. In 2007-2008 Narziev’s canvases «The Fairy Tales of Humsan» and «My Mahalla» were exhibited at the CEH of the AAU at an annual exhibition «Nature and Artist».
For his participation in the 2008 «Navkiron Uzbekiston» contest organized by the Forum for Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan Foundation N. Narziev was awarded a certificate. His works are always displayed at exhibitions organized by the K. Behzad National Institute of Arts and Design.
The most important thing for an artist is the process of searching, and every artist rediscovers the world every time… N. Narziev is searching for his own way in all genres: landscape, still life, portrait, etc.
The art of masters of the brush such as U. Tansykbaev, N. Karahan, N. Kuzybaev and many others provides inspiration for young landscape artists, and Nuriddin Narziev is one of them. He once said that «Pictorial Art is nature itself. It differs from other art forms. In my opinion, it is truly a miracle. If you are surrounded by the world of fine art, you are surrounded by the most beautiful thing in this world. This period in my creative work is a period of cognizing the world, the human being and myself in it».
Narziev dedicated a number of his works to historic architectural monuments; he also painted urban and rural landscapes. He is interested in natural scenery, courtyards, gardens, streets and villages. His paintings captivate by extraordinarily beautiful combination of architectural forms and colour solutions. To better understand Narziev’s art, one should look at his landscapes.
Nature is the foundation of Nuriddin’s art that reveals all the secrets of nature’s colour palette. In his numerous studies the artist seeks to find the most characteristic compositional solutions. Most of his landscapes are dedicated to late autumn, sultry summer, or harsh winter. He glorifies nature with his brush. For him there are no restrictions in choosing a theme. Narziev paints nature and people. Still, landscape remains his favourite genre, with he related to from his childhood years.
In the contemporary pictorial art of Uzbekistan the boundaries of artistic process are expanding and the process acquires multiple facets. Speaking about the future of young talented artists, one feels like saying that Nuriddin Narziev already contributes to the further development of fine arts in our country.
